Halloween Night!

The cast list for trick or treating went as followed: The part of Indiana Jones (he looked really good too!) was played by Jeff, followed by Kanga (Amy) and Little Roo (Andrew). Next came our own version of justice league of Spider Man (Nathan), Batman (Sam) and Super Boy (Timmy). But no Halloween entourage would be complete with out a beautiful ballerina in this case Claire from the Nutcracker suite (Corinne), such a classy little girl. We were accompanied by a clown/photographer (Honey).

I would have to call the night a success. The weather was absolutely perfect. The kids had a blast. Timmy loved the idea of going door to door and having them give him candy. At each house the other kids would shout "Trick or Treat" and when the candy was dropped into their bag they would yell "Thank You!". Each time Timmy would stand behind them waiting patiently, and when candy was dropped, he would turn to step away and say "You're welcome". At least he remembered to be polite.

The party was very enjoyable. The house was decorated really cool and even had a fog machine. The food was good but had creepy names. I made the "Vampire Punch" with raspberry sherbet floating in it, and brought "Mummy Wraps" made out of strips of tortillas, turkey, cheese, ranch and cream cheese. We can home to younger kids asleep from exhaustion and older kids wired on candy and party adrenaline. Tomorrow will definitely be a day to recover.
